LensFest Extended 2023 meetups in erbil supported by SnapAR
For the second consecutive year, I hosted the LensFest Extended event in Erbil. This four-day event featured meetings and workshops where the SnapAR community and AR technology enthusiasts from various cities explored the latest features of Lens Studio beta 5.0, including advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. We also had the pleasure of welcoming new lens creators to our community. Together with the attendees, we created some innovative lenses and concluded the event by enjoying desserts and drinks.

Snap Summer Meetups, Hackathon in erbil by SnapAR
As part of the SnapAR Summer Meetups program, I hosted the SSM23 hackathon, supported by SnapAR, for the first time in Iraq, in Erbil city. The event spanned four exhilarating days filled with creativity and friendly competition among our talented community of lens builders. Participants competed for the top three Interactive Augmented Reality (AR) lens awards. We concluded the hackathon with a special day dedicated to announcing the winners and celebrating with sweets and drinks.

I recently hosted iraq first LensFest Extended event in Erbil, a groundbreaking four-day gathering of meetups and workshops. This event marked the first occasion where the SnapAR community and AR technology enthusiasts from several cities came together in one place. Throughout the event, we unveiled the latest SnapAR tools and features offered by Lens Studio. Our workshops were particularly enriching, as participants not only created visually stunning lenses but also learned how to leverage Augmented Reality (AR) lenses and technologies effectively.

Snap Lens Network in MENA-Dubai
I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend SnapConnection, first Snap event and meetups in the MENA region. This exciting event brought together the top augmented reality lens creators in the area, offering a great platform to connect and collaborate. We got to see SnapAR latest and coolest advancements in augmented reality technology. The event also included exclusive lunch opportunities with Snap Lens Network members and SnapAR heads, which were fantastic for networking and discussions. The absolute highlight for me was visiting the Snap Cube at Expo 2022 Dubai, where I got to try out the newest AR lenses firsthand.
